Performer
Mezzo Soprano

After graduating with a degree in vocal performance from UCSB, Patti began her professional career at the Santa Barbara Civic Light Opera where she earned her Actor's Equity card.  She lived and performed in New York City for over ten years.  Memorable roles include Eliza Doolittle in "My Fair Lady" and Maria in "West Side Story."  She also worked as the production singer on Carnival Cruise Line's "Ms Fascination."  While in NYC, Patti earned her Masters in theatre from NYU and developed the lower school drama program at The Convent of the Sacred Heart School.  Patti is currently the drama director of the SHHS Drama Program. She performs locally with Jazz @ 7 and has been a featured performer in several recent Broadway reviews at the White Barn.

Kathryn Hopgood, Soprano

Kathryn's deep joy for music has led to sixteen years of choral ensembles and a music performance degree from Pacific Union College. Kathryn has been a soprano soloist in Spain, Scandinavia, China and Russia, and has also enjoyed playing lead roles for the Napa Valley Musical Theatre such as Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof. She takes much joy in performing in many Napa Valley weddings, church services and other private parties and charity events and is a lead musician in a local band, "The Fabulous Screwtops." Kathryn spends her days with the amazing students at the Calistoga Jr/Sr High School as their Registrar has hopes of having her own choir someday.

"Vocal Color"
Featuring St. Helena Educators
Laura Condylis and Carolyn Bond
Vocal Color is an eight-person, mostly a cappella harmony group with very colorful repertoire.  Whether it's doo-wop,  jazz, folk, ballads, gospel or pop, Vocal Color brings the music to life with rich harmonies and stellar solos.

You may have seen "The Colors" at the Castello di Amoroso, ST. Helena Cheers, The Napa Porchfest or at any number of benefits for good causes in and beyond the Napa Valley;  from homeless shelters to food pantries to disaster relief.
The group includes
Carolyn Bond, Laura Condylis, Bill Lyman,
Gretchen de Limur, Linda Benton, Karen Ingalls,
Michael Vivrette, and Carl Sherrill

The "Slides of Sauron"

Formed in 2012, the Slides of Sauron is a trombone quartet featuring Mitchell Aiken (tenor), Grant Jeffcoat (tenor), Wyatt Jeffcoat (tenor), and Evan Blasingame (bass). While the Slides of Sauron have been known to play
a diverse spectrum of genres, their latest emphasis on music of the
Third Age of Middle Earth especially highlights the sonic superiority of the
trombone, or sackbut as it was known in the Baroque period.
Capable of mind-bending fortississimos and heart-wrenching pianissimos
of harmonic glory, the Slides of Sauron are sure to inspire romantic
exaltation from Middle Earth to Valinor.

We anticipate mischief and myrth from this group led by Evan Blasingame (2nd from left). Sliders include (from left to right):  Wyatt Jeffcoat, Evan Blasingame, Grant Jeffcoat, and Mitchell Aiken.
